About Us

A 130 bedded Peads hospital with 3.7 Acars total area providing preventive and curative health care services to a catchment area of central Quetta city and referral patient from the entire Balochistan and Afghanistan.

Previously its name was Children Hospital Quetta. it was taken over by Health Department in July 2019, and in December 2020, it was declared as Balochistan Institute of Child Health service Quetta (BICHQ).

BICHQ Act 2025 is under review by Government of Balochistan. At present it is under the supervision of an interim Board of Governors, constituted by Government of Balochistan.

Accident and Emergency

The BICHQ provides round the clock accident & emergency service for children who are referred from all over Balochistan. Most of the referred patients are in very critical condition and every effort is made to manage these patients swiftly and effectively.

Experienced Doctors

Our team of doctors consists pf highly experienced doctors who are round the clock dedicated to provide top quality medical services and care to patients and always available to help. We are currently looking for compassionate doctors of all specialties as well as paramedics that are willing to cooperate with us and take advantage of our new cutting edge medical facilities

Indoor Departments

This is a specialized branch of Pediatrics which aims at preventing ill health, promoting optimum development and ensuring the early detection of abnormalities.

he Department consists of a group of dedicated full-time faculty.
We provide comprehensive Neonatal and Pediatric advanced life support facilities under one roof in addition to a thoroughly dependable general pediatric care.
